We collect your name and email address when you create an account. We collect estate information you enter including bank accounts, property, investments, pensions, insurance, business interests, digital assets and will details. We collect payment information processed securely through Stripe.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the WillFull service, process subscription payments, send account notifications, notify your named executor when registered, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the following bases: performance of a contract to provide the service, legitimate interests to improve the service and prevent fraud, legal obligation to comply with applicable laws, and consent where you have specifically agreed.
5. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase with bank-level encryption. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days except where required by law. Estate data may be retained longer to allow executor access.
7. Sharing your information
We share your information only with your named executor upon verified death registration, with service providers including Supabase, Stripe and Resend who are contractually bound to protect your data, and with authorities where required by law.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data. Contact us at privacy@willfull.co.uk to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies only, necessary for the platform to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Essential cookies include authentication tokens and session management.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
